Some days don’t go as planned. Life can be overwhelming and hard sometimes. BUT, God is still good in the midst of it!
While everyday may not be a “good” day, we can rest assure that God is always good (Psalm 34:8); He is constant (Malachi 3:6) and He will never leave or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5b).
There is a message in the midst of the mess! On the darkest day, there is something to be learned about who God is! Without hard days, we will not experience who God is as our Comforter (2 Corinthians 1:3), as the Prince of Peace (John 16:33), as the Lifter Up of our heads (Psalm 3:3), etc. God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose! (Romans 8:28)
Next time you’re having a tough day, take a moment and ask Him, “Lord, what are you trying to teach me?” He is with you in the midst of the mess, friend; He is still good. Every bad day that I have with Jesus as my Lord is better than the best day ever without Him. Remember, you’re not alone!
