There comes a time in life when we all have to make a decision. Do you want to do life with Jesus or without Him?
At the age of six, I came to know Jesus as my personal Savior. There have been rough days, but I couldn’t imagine going through those days without my Jesus. There are days when my insecurities loom and I don’t feel good enough, but a still small voice often reminds me that someone died for me, I am loved, I am a child of God, I am blameless and whole in the eyes of The Savior. In every moment of discouragement, I am reminded that I will never walk alone and to pick my head up because the victory has already been won! We don’t fight for victory, we fight from victory! Every day since the moment I came to know Jesus, I have had a Savior walking beside me, holding my hand; a Savior waiting for me to crawl up in His lap and tell Him all about my day; the good, the bad, and the ugly. He wants to hear it all.
Sounds like a pretty good deal, doesn’t it? There’s someone who died for You that loves you and says you’re more than good enough, He says you are worth dying for! You can be washed clean, but you have to make that choice. Would you rather do life with a friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24) or alone with no one to lean on? You may be refusing this invitation of salvation because you want to be young and wild, but let me tell you, friend, it is much better to live for Jesus than to live for this world. The things of this world are temporary, but Jesus is forever.
“Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ”-Philippians 3:8
Do not put it off any longer! It is so sweet to trust in Jesus! To be able to trust what He says; to rest in His promises; to know what His word says; to know what He thinks about you! I promise it is much better to do life with Jesus than without Him!
What’s holding you back?
Amen!
