Going down the road yesterday the thought occurred to me that God delights in me! What a thought! The Creator of the Universe and Giver of Life truly delights in me, though my righteousness is but filthy rags. And guess what? God delights in you, too!
Psalm 149:4 says, “the Lord taketh pleasure in his people.” How sweet it is to know that we bring pleasure to the Father! Ephesians 1 and 2 tell us that we have been adopted, chosen, accepted, redeemed, saved by grace, God’s workmanship, and we are loved! Oh if we can only grasp these truths and live like we believe it!
Friend, if you are defeated, worn out, or tired, go to the One who can give you rest, because His yoke is easy and His burden is light! (Matthew 11:28-30)
You are fully known and fully loved!0 You were worth dying for!

Lord, I pray we would live like we’re loved and delighted in! Thank You for loving us and what You did for us on the cross! Thank You for giving us your Word to read of and rest in Your love! You are so good!
